Senior Payroll Specialist

Our Client, a residential real estate company in Dallas, TX is hiring for a Sr. Payroll Specialist to join their team! This is a remote position once training has been fully completed with training “in office” a minimum of 3 days per week until fully trained. While this position is remote, only candidates from the Dallas/Fort Worth area will be considered due to onsite meeting requirements. About the Role The Sr. Payroll Specialist will process payroll for 1200 employees, multi-state using Ceridian/Dayforce. Responsibilities Process payroll for 1200 employees, multi-state using Ceridian/Dayforce. Manage timecards for a workforce of roughly 1200+ employees, including 500–600 hourly, ensuring all timecards are complete and approved. Prepare time records to be loaded into the payroll system and support the payroll manager with some audit tasks. Qualifications Degree preferred but not required. CPP Certification - high preference. 4-10 years of full cycle payroll experience. Experience with time and attendance / timecard processing in a biweekly payroll environment. Ceridian Dayforce experience is a high preference but not a deal-breaker. Familiarity with how 401(k), benefits, and taxes impact payroll (conceptual understanding); does not directly process or set up these deductions/enrollments. Required Skills Ability to manage timecards for a workforce of roughly 1200+ employees. Ability to prepare time records to be loaded into the payroll system.
