Physical Therapist - Pediatrics

KidTherapy is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide care for children and adolescents with diverse medical needs, including torticollis, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, orthopedic injuries, genetic disorders, and other unique diagnoses. Patient Population Torticollis Developmental delays Cerebral palsy Orthopedic injuries Genetic disorders And many other unique diagnoses and challenges Responsibilities Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Review the data gathered from the patient's tests and examinations, then make recommendations based on your findings. Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor. Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient. Ask patients about their physical status, including any injuries or mobility concerns. Qualifications This position requires excellent analytical, communication, and observational skills. Bachelor’s degree and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Preference for candidates with some previous experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting. Must have a current state license to practice in the state you reside in. Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) required. Must be a licensed physical therapist in the state of TX. Compensation $85,000 - $95,000 yearly. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kidtherapy
