Your expertise, curiosity and judgment will be critical in delivering innovative, client-ready solutions that create measurable impact.Work You'll DoOwning workstreams by identifying innovative solutions through in-depth research, data analytics, and insightful interviewsTaking ownership in the development of business cases, delivering actionable recommendations, and leading the implementation of operational initiativesEstablishing strong stakeholder rapport and owning client communications, including presenting analytical findings and recommendations, and independently handling client inquiriesGathering, refining, and analyzing complex data sets, including medical claims, pharmacy claims, and financial data, to enable accurate and robust quantitative analysesDeveloping and delivering persuasive presentations to clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and impactful communication with a focus on concise storytellingMentoring and guiding Analysts and Consultants by modeling strong problem solving, communication, accountability, and teamwork to foster their growth and developmentDeveloping a deep understanding of client needs and delivering exceptional results that align with their objectivesAsking incisive and probing questions to uncover underlying issues and identify new opportunitiesOther duties as assignedRequirements4 + years of consulting experience, with progressive responsibility and client-facing delivery2+ years of experience with the healthcare industry, specifically with payersBachelor's degree requiredExperience with healthcare claims analytics and/or network analytics, with strong understanding of payer/provider contracts, clinical operations, reimbursement language and models, and key contract termsDemonstrated success solving complex healthcare payer challenges related to cost containment, operations, data utilization, and performance improvementAdvanced proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of SQL (or alike) for data analysisStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify profitability and performance improvement opportunities, and build compelling business casesProven project and process management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to present confidently and engage directly with client and internal stakeholdersCreative, innovative problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to navigate ambiguity, see the big picture, and exercise strong independent judgment and decision-making, especially in client-facing solutionsHigh degree of self-motivation, proactivity, accountability, and the ability to inspire and develop othersCultural flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced consulting environmentsWillingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client locations, when requiredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorshipCompensation & BenefitsFlexible PTO, monthly half-day refuels, volunteer time off, 10 paid holidaysOwn Your Day flexible work policyCompetitive majority employer-paid benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K MatchGenerous paid parental leave optionsEmployer-paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term DisabilityCharitable contribution matching programNew client commission opportunities and referral bonus programBike share discount programThe estimated base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $125,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer-paid benefits and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors, including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.AArete will accept applications until the position is filled.
