QA Supervisor (FOOD)

Quality Assurance ManagerResponsible for coordination, implementation, and maintenance of QA Program.Supervise daily QC Technician Activities.Responsible for identifying quality and food safety issues & verify they have been corrected.Conduct internal, 3rd party and customer audits to ensure compliance to all Federal, State, County, City Regulations, Customer Requirements, SQF code and Nasoya Food Standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Pest Control, Glass Avoidance, SSOP/HACCP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure/Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and general facility condition.Conduct end-product safety and quality analysis.Maintain an accurate set of documents/records.Conduct Hold and Release of products.Verify HACCP Critical Control Point (CCPs) monitoring records.Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards or processes.Develop documents and implement training, programs, and procedures to ensure that customer, company, and regulatory specifications are met. Trainings include includes but not limit to product quality standards, GMP's, Food Safety Issues, and HACCP.Assist coordinating investigation on all NCR issued and Customer and Consumer Complaints and ensure they are followed through.Ensure all equipment calibrations are current.Assist with ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
