Data Migration Engineer

Sr. Data Migration Engineer (JDE) Location: Nashville, TN (Remote) Type: 6-Month Contract Compensation: Up to $70/hr (W2) Start Date: ASAP We're looking for a Senior Data Migration Engineer with strong JD Edwards (JDE) 9.2 experience to support a large ERP transformation initiative currently underway. This role is focused on one thing: extracting, understanding, and transforming data from JD Edwards so it can be successfully migrated into Oracle Fusion. The team already has deep JDE expertise in-house, but they're fully allocated to other parts of the project and need someone who can step in and work independently from day one. If you've spent time working directly with JDE table structures, HR and Payroll data, and large-scale migration efforts, this is the type of project where your experience will make an immediate impact. What You'll Be Doing Extract, analyze, and transform data from JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Work directly with JDE tables and data structures to identify, map, and prepare data for migration Partner with internal ERP and development teams to support Oracle Fusion migration efforts Develop and validate data transformation and migration processes Troubleshoot data quality, mapping, and conversion issues Create documentation for data mappings, transformation logic, and migration activities Support testing and validation of migrated data Work with HR and Payroll data sets to ensure accurate conversion and reconciliation What We're Looking For Strong hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Deep understanding of JDE table structures and database design Experience supporting HR and Payroll modules within JD Edwards 4+ years of SQL development experience Experience with data migration, ETL, and data transformation projects Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Nice to Have PL/SQL experience Python for data transformation or automation Oracle Fusion migration experience ERP modernization experience Experience supporting large enterprise application migrations Why This Opportunity?
