Job Title: Project Portfolio Analyst
Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire
Pay: 60-70/hr W2
Location: 5 days onsite, Chicago, IL
Summary
Join a dynamic organization as a Project Portfolio Analyst, where you will play a critical role in establishing and enhancing best practices for IT project and portfolio management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
7+ years of IT project management experience, including project planning, execution, and stakeholder management
PMI/PMP certification or equivalent preferred
Proven experience developing and implementing project management methodologies, policies, and governance processes
Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms
Knowledge of healthcare IT or hospital information systems is a plus
Responsibilities
Establish, implement, and continuously improve project and portfolio management best practices, policies, and procedures
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with leadership
Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from planning to post-implementation review
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource estimates, and status reports
Track key performance indicators, monitor project progress, and adjust as needed to ensure successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Identify and mitigate project risks, scope changes, and potential issues
