Title: Retail Associate I, II, IIILocation: Kotzebue, AKStatus: Full Time and Part Time positions availablePosition Summary:KIC Logistics is looking to hire Retail Associates I, II and III.The Retail Associate is the first point of contact for customers and the general public. This person must have a commitment to maximizing customer satisfaction with efficient services, all while ensuring that each customer is satisfied with their services and product received. Must present a friendly and professional image of the company through face to face and telephonic interaction.Maintain outstanding customer service, generate sales, support store management team, all while infusing the traditional values of the Inupiat people, which include adaptability, honesty, hard work, cooperation, integrity and a commitment to quality into the work place.Duties/Responsibilities:Retail Associate IAccurately operate computer based P.O.S. systemPrice, order, and stock merchandiseMaintain cleanliness, order, and safety of the store and workplaceCollaboratively work as a productive team member to increase the sales and profits of KICLAssist with seasonal inventory controlAssure back stock inventory is properly labeled and storedAttend trainings as assigned by managementDemonstrative loss prevention awarenessOther duties as assignedRetail Associate IIInclude all duties of Retail Associate I12+ months of retail experienceTrains new employees as neededAssist with car rental duties, including pick up / drop off and detailingOpening / closing store as assignedOther duties as assignedRetail Associate IIIInclude all duties of Retail Associate I / II18+ months of retail experience or equivalentOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Retail Associate IHigh school diploma or equivalentUse of computer programs and ability to learn KICL specific store systemsUse of credit card transaction systems or retail experience preferredAbility to safely lift 45lbsBasic math skillsAbility to productively work with a teamRetail Associate IIIncludes all requirements of Retail Associate I12+ months experience of retail computer systems and card transaction machinesDriver's license or able to obtain within 6 months of hireRetail Associate IIIIncludes all requirements of Retail Associate II18+ months experience of retail computer systems and card transaction machinesDriver's license or able to obtain within 6 months of hireWorking Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a fast paced multi-tasking environment requiring regular attendance of a 40 hour work week.
