Entry Level Data Science Analyst (Remote)About the job Entry Level Data Science Analyst (Remote)The analyst will have a passion for problem solving, comfort with ambiguity and the ability to think conceptually, analytically and creatively. This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Optimere office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business users and analyze the data and report on all Roadside areas, including but not limited to contact center performance, digital self service, partner reporting, marketing channel effectiveness, customer experience, and Claims/BillingCollect, analyze, and evaluate data to break down strategic problems, track project performance and important developments; Synthesize raw data into digestible and actionable informationConduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced statistical methods. Assess trends and provide data interpretation to identify important business issues.Responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements in a way that effectively conveys the required functionality to stakeholders and Data Scientist/Business Intelligence teamResponsible for identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data setsDesigns and produces regular and ad-hoc analysis, reports, and dashboards to effectively communicate data driven insights to stakeholders.Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team membersProvide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reportsDesign and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processesTranslate business requirements and unstructured business issues into data analytic problemsCreate best practices for testing/profiling of data to ensure proper operation and accuracyEffectively communicate technical analyses and results to analytics leadersSupervisory Responsibilities:This job does not have supervisory duties.Functional Skills:Ability to manage multiple projects concurrentlyExperience working with cross-functional teams and offshore teamStrong collaboration & team skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail orientedSelf-motivatedEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer programming or related fieldKnowledge and experience (5-7 years experience) in data preparation, data analysis, and statistical tool sets including but not limited to Tableau, SQL, R, PythonProficient in statisticsCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:NoneNotes:The preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.
