The Production Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production. This role involves loading materials, adjusting machine settings, inspecting finished products for quality, and performing basic maintenance or troubleshooting when needed. The Machine Operator follows safety procedures, production schedules, and quality standards to help maintain consistent output and minimize downtime. Strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and basic mechanical skills are important for success in this position.

Position purpose is to improve production efficiency by operating manufacturing equipment and filling production position vacancies, as directed each day by production leaders.

Major responsibilities include setting up, starting, and operating production machinery according to work instructions, loading raw materials or parts into machines and ensuring proper alignment, monitoring machine operation to ensure products meet quality and production standards, inspecting finished products for defects and removing non-conforming items, adjusting machine settings to maintain proper speed, temperature, pressure, or alignment, performing routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic adjustments, troubleshooting minor machine issues and reporting major problems to maintenance or supervisors, recording production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and defects, following all workplace safety procedures and wearing required protective equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, communicating with supervisors and team members about production status or issues, and meeting daily production targets and efficiency goals.

Working conditions include 12-hour work shifts with possible overtime.
