RN - Labor/Delivery (L&D)

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor and Delivery role, with additional responsibilities in postpartum care, couplet care, and the newborn nursery. The RN will also assist with OBGYN post-operative patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients and their newborns.
• Assist in postpartum care, ensuring the well-being of both mothers and babies.
• Deliver competent care in the newborn nursery, including assessments and interventions.
• Support OBGYN post-operative patients in their recovery process.
• Collaborate as part of a team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Active Kansas nursing license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. All certifications must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Previous completion of at least 2 travel contracts, with no first-time travelers accepted.

Additional Information:

Candidates must complete a drug screen on site as part of compliance requirements. Housing assistance is recommended for candidates who are located over 45 miles from the facility, and mileage must be noted in the submission packet.
