Computed Tomography Technologist
Schedule: 10-hour shifts (1200-2230 or 1000-2130), Weekend, On-Call, and Holiday Rotation Required
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program; Education Verification is required
- 2 years of CT experience required
- ARRT Radiography registration required
- ARRT Computed Tomography registration required
- IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
- Approved CPR or BLS certification required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Administer x-radiation while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures while providing necessary instructions to minimize anxiety.
- Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories to successfully perform procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate for procedures.
- Provide patient education and maintain control of inventory and supplies for the assigned area.
