Registered Nurse

Title: Registered Nurse
Duration: 2 months contract + Possibility of extension
Location: Puyallup, WA 98373
Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the course of care.
Collaborate with physicians, surgical staff, and clinical team members to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes in condition to providers.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Support patient flow and ensure efficient clinical operations.
Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service and compassionate patient care.
Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Assist with orientation and training activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current CPR Certification.
Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience.
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Basic to intermediate computer proficiency and electronic documentation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using Epic EMR.
Previous ambulatory surgery, outpatient, perioperative, or procedural nursing experience.
Strong computer and technology skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
