Production Manager

Overview Description Production Manager: This position is responsible for working with the Account Manager/Supervisors, establishing annual work plans and ensuring all goals are achieved. Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt Pay : Competitive, Salary Essential Functions & Responsibilities Oversee and manage budget and mileage goals established. Evaluate crews for production efficiency and determine methods to improve. Provide conflict resolution when necessary. Coordinate manpower fluctuations. Educate customers, community groups and jurisdictions concerning potential vegetation/electric conflict hazards. Mentor and development of general forepersons. Mentor and development of crew members. Ensure that maintenance programs meet all federal regulations and/or utility standards. Primary contact for after-hour tree crew requests and/or storm-related activity. Insure proper billing. Oversee the Quality Assurance Programs. Performs other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to effectively direct, motivate, and develop teams in a production or field environment. Proficient in the use of personal computers and standard business software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, production or reporting systems). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders. Ability to safely operate an approved company vehicle in accordance with company policy and applicable driving requirements. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a Vegetation Management General Foreperson required. Pre-Screen Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check. License & Certifications Driver's License required. ISA Certification required. Travel Requirements Availability for occasional travel and overnight stays to support regional operations and storm related work.
