Position Overview We’re Hiring: Personal Finance Bookkeeping / Concierge Assistants Supporting Private Clients With All Facets of Home, Health & Lifestyle Locations & Work Arrangement Chicago | Atlanta | Denver | Cincinnati (Hybrid / Flexible) About the Role Are you the person others rely on to keep everything running smoothly? We’re growing and looking for highly organized, self-directed professionals to step into a unique role that blends bookkeeping, bill pay, and lifestyle financial management for private clients and family offices. This is not a traditional assistance & admin role. At Tight Ship, you serve as your client’s “Personal CFO” – the trusted operator who ensures every financial detail, household responsibility, and professional relationship is coordinated with precision. Your Responsibilities Daily money management (bill pay, cash flow, budgeting) Bookkeeping for households & family office-style environments Healthcare & insurance navigation Household operations and vendor management Coordination with CPAs, attorneys, and wealth advisors General management of your client’s financial life Your Background Bookkeepers, financial coordinators or operations professionals ready for a more client-facing, high-impact role Individuals who thrive in autonomous, flexible environments Detail-oriented professionals who take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and discretion Those who naturally take ownership and understand the importance of efficiency, security and accuracy The Opportunity Flexible, hybrid schedule depending on the needs of the client; some clients want a presence in-home, some clients prefer a completely virtual arrangement; some clients need a little bit of both. Tight Ship prides itself on a personalized experience with each client and that’s reflected in both how we perform our services as well as where the services are performed. Part-time structure (15–20 hrs/week) with growth potential $40/hour + increasing billable opportunities Company-sponsored Certified Senior Advisor® (CSA) designation &/or QBO Certification based on background Work directly with private clients and their trusted wealth, tax and legal advisors Must Haves Bachelors Degree Experience related to Wealth Management, Personal Finance, &/or Project Management Quickbooks or other related certification preferred Proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs & Excel are a must Outstanding ability to communicate & translate financial or operational concepts into digestible information (in person & written)and able to flex to needs of the client Submit to background check Access to reliable transportation This flexible, part-time role is structured as an hourly position and is not benefit-eligible #J-18808-Ljbffr Tight Ship Advisors
