We are seeking an exceptional Service Manager to join a highly regarded hospitality group in Brooklyn known for thoughtful cuisine, elevated service, and a strong commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.

The Role

The Service Manager will play a key role in leading the front-of-house operation, supporting the General Manager and leadership team while maintaining an exceptional standard of hospitality throughout every service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, coach, and develop front-of-house team members
• Set and maintain consistently high standards for service, hospitality, and guest engagement
• Provide strong, visible floor leadership during busy service periods
• Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house and culinary teams
• Train team members on menu knowledge, service standards, hospitality, and restaurant procedures
• Manage guest flow, reservations, table turns, large parties, and special events
• Address guest concerns professionally and create positive resolutions
• Support scheduling, labor deployment, opening and closing procedures, and daily operations
• Monitor service execution and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the guest experience
• Assist with maintaining operational standards, cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation
• Help foster a positive, professional, and accountable restaurant culture
• Support management with team communication, performance coaching, and ongoing development

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant General Manager, or comparable leadership experience
• Experience in upscale, chef-driven, polished casual, or high-quality hospitality environments
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop front-of-house teams
• Strong understanding of hospitality and elevated service standards
• Experience working in high-volume restaurants and managing busy dining rooms
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Confident and composed floor presence
• Hands-on leadership approach with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to build strong relationships with both guests and team members
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labor, scheduling, and service execution
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
