Porter Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) located in scenic Middlebury, Vermont and is a partner in the UVM Health Network. Porter is also proud to have a Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, a 105-bed facility with a memory care unit, long term care unit and an acute rehabilitation unit. Porter also has a network of outpatient medical practices that range from primary care to specialized health care services. Role Overview:

\n

\n
• Provide full scope obstetric and gynecologic care to patients of all ages.
\n
• Closely collaborate with certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioner
\n
• OB/GYN call pool is 1:4. Call is primarily back up to certified nurse midwives who takes first call.
\n
• Outreach outpatient GYN clinic in Ticonderoga, NY approximately once per month.
\n

• Medical Degree
\n
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology or board eligible.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and respectful relationships across the health network.
\n
• Great emphasis on teamwork and collegiality with a all members of the care team.
\n

Position Details:

\n
• 0.75 Clinical FTE at Porter Medical Center
\n
• 0.25 FTE at UVMMC 
\n
• 3 days a week with mix of seeing patients in outpatient practice and OR time.  1:4 call rotation.
\n

\n
