Job TitleObtain products from Inventory and Inspection to fill orders and carefully identify information and quantitiesPrepare containers for shipment and place items in correct containers, packing accordinglyEnter shipments into the computer system to generate a shipping ticketReceives and unloads incoming materials and compares quantities shown on packing slips to items receivedInspects for damage, compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and documents discrepancies and report damaged goods to supervisorEnter goods received into computerized inventory system according to instructionsConsistent and punctual attendance is requiredPhysical strength to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionallyLabels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specificationsPulling / pushing pallet of various size and weights with assistance of pallet jack to stage product for receiving or shippingOverhead reaching and twisting to select and put away product from/to shelvingRepeatedly go up and down 25' ladder carrying box weighing up to 20 lbs.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulationsParticipate in period end inventory counts as required performing accurate inventory counts and recording counts clearly as directedGeneral knowledge of shipping and receiving proceduresAbility to input data into computer system and create reportsFed Ex and UPS familiarity preferredFlexible, friendly and helpful dispositionAbility to multi-task while maintaining accuracyStrong attention to detailWillingness to learnEffective listening abilities with strong judgment skillsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredOther duties as assignedMust be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.About Us:For over 35 years, TERREPOWER (formerly BBB Industries) has been a leader in sustainable manufacturing, driving the circular economy by extending the life of essential products in the automotive and industrial markets.Founded in 1987 in Daphne, Alabama by the Bigler family, TERREPOWER began as a small regional remanufacturer of starters and alternators.
