Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in en_US. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, following individualized care plans, and supervising clinical staff. This role emphasizes patient safety and teamwork within a hospital setting.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed and supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. Embraces the organizations core values, prioritizes patient and employee safety, and promotes a culture of safety awareness, including safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and hazard reporting.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required prior to first shift. A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience in a healthcare setting is required. Education and licensure compliance for Registered Nursing (RN) licensure are mandatory.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs patient assessments within eight hours of admission, develops and modifies care plans, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and initiates discharge planning from day of admission. Demonstrates skills in patient education, documentation, and delegation, and participates in team-building activities to ensure a positive work environment. May assume charge nurse responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues ongoing professional development.
