Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) registered nurse position in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized acute care in a busy medical intensive care unit. The position requires dedication to patient safety and excellent clinical skills to meet the needs of critically ill patients during night shift hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift hours, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure, current acute care ICU hospital experience of at least 1 year, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech electronic medical record system experience, experience traveling to large trauma facilities, Sono, IV, and CRRT skills.
• Additional Information: The ICU unit has 26 beds with a staffing ratio of approximately 2:1 patients to staff. Typical procedures include moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. The unit emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and maintaining a positive attitude, following established policies and guidelines.
