Packaging TechnicianPackaging Technician Responsibilities:Operate packaging equipment (e.g., labelers, pick and place, heat tunnel, vision systems, forklift, etc.)Inspect product accurately and efficiently to meet quality guidelinesPerform equipment change-over and set-upConduct initial troubleshooting for packaging equipment issues (e.g., Labelers, Pick and place, heat tunnel, etc.)Ensure that proper cGMP documentation is followed for completeness and adherence to procedures in a timely mannerRead, understand, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating ProceduresPrepare QA Line clearances (e.g., Small volume line)Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentMaintain facilities and equipment as required by Standard Operating ProceduresEngage in cross-training within the department to meet business needsCommunicate processing needs to co-workersReport progress several times daily to the shift line leader and/or SupervisorReport process events or issues immediately to shift line leader and/or Supervisor (escalation process)Communicate facility and inventory needs dailyMonitor processes against manufacturing records, data capture forms, and SOPsParticipate in Daily Performance Review (Team)Complete batch tickets with materials consumed during executionProvide feedback regarding feasibility of proposed improvementsFollow defined process sequencesRequirements:HS diploma; Associate's preferred or equivalent experience2 to 3 years manufacturing experienceDetail-oriented with effective communication skills and quality conscienceEquipment/Process troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift to 35 lbsBasic math and computer skillsPreferred: 5+ years of related experience; Forklift certified
