Nursing Assistant

Nursing Assistant Location: Liberty, NY Base Pay Range $26.00/yr - $26.00/yr Job Description This is non‑technical work involving the routine care of patients and the performance of indirect or non‑nursing services for patients. Work is subject to general supervision, except activities concerning the actual care of patients, which are performed under direct supervision by the registered nurse in charge of the patient. Typical work activities include, but are not limited to: assisting patients in walking, feeding and bathing; caring for personal needs; lifting and turning heavy or helpless patients; assisting according to the patient’s maturity level; regulating visitors and providing information to them in accordance with the nurse’s instructions; assembling information on the patient’s condition and entering reports; cleaning and sterilizing nursing home equipment; caring for patient clothing and turning over valuables to the designated person. At the time of appointment, candidates must have completed the 100‑hour Nurse’s Aide training course as required by the New York State Department of Health, passed the New York State Nurses Aide competency examination, and possess valid New York State registration. Shift Hours

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
