We are seeking a detailed-oriented monitor work areas and personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulation.
Schedule Hours: 7:30am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Job Duties:
- Observe workers performing assigned tasks and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor work areas for hazardous conditions, including fire, gas leaks, toxic atmospheres, or unsafe behaviors.
- Maintain continuous communication with workers, especially during confined space or high-risk operations.
- Stop work when unsafe conditions or practices are identified.
- Conduct safety inspections and report hazards to supervisors.
- Assist with emergency response procedures and evacuations when necessary.
- Verify that required permits, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety equipment are in place.
- Keep accurate records of observations, incidents, and safety checks.
- Perform other assigned duties to support operations.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedure.
- Ability to recognize hazardous condition an act quickly.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to work with other crew members
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
