• Interest In – Urgent Care Without the Traditional ER Lifestyle: If you love the medicine of ER but don't necessarily want the overnight schedule and intensity of a traditional 24-hour emergency hospital, Animal House offers a pretty incredible middle ground.

Our Urgent Care service sees the cases that make you think same-day illnesses, wounds and injuries, GI cases, toxin ingestion, urinary concerns, eye problems, lameness, foreign-body concerns, acute pain, and other patients who simply can't wait several days for an appointment.

You'll have the opportunity to evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, hospitalize, treat, and perform procedures or surgery when appropriate , with the equipment and technical team needed to support you.

And when a patient truly requires 24-hour or highly specialized care, you aren't expected to be everything to everyone. We coordinate referral to the appropriate emergency or specialty facility.

• Never Boring – And That's the Point: Urgent Care is for the veterinarian who likes walking into work and not knowing exactly what the day will bring. You get to use your clinical judgment, diagnostics, procedural skills, and problem-solving ability while making a very real difference for patients and owners who need help now.

Animal House is an AAHA-accredited, modern hospital equipped with ABAXIS in-house laboratory capabilities, ultrasound, digital radiography, electrocautery, blood transfusion capabilities, echocardiography, advanced patient monitoring, dedicated surgical and dental areas, hospitalization capabilities, and more.

Our doctors can manage an impressive range of medical and surgical needs in-house, with additional access to board-certified specialists within our network for consultation on complex cases.

In other words: you'll have the tools, technology, and clinical resources around you to actually practice the level of medicine you're capable of.

• Surgery + Advanced Cases: For doctors who enjoy procedures and surgery, Animal House offers exposure beyond routine GP. The hospital provides routine and advanced surgical care, orthopedic case management, fracture repair, abdominal surgery, dental procedures, and more , giving an experienced clinician plenty of opportunity to use and continue developing procedural skills.

• Experienced Urgent Care Support Team: Great Urgent Care medicine requires great technicians. Our highly skilled CVTs and long-tenured support team bring strong capabilities in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, imaging, treatments, patient monitoring, laboratory work, client communication, and handling higher-acuity cases. This isn't a doctor-does-everything environment. Your team is there to support you so you can focus on being the doctor.
