What We Are Looking For

At CORE: New York, we seek thoughtful, dynamic individuals who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences for our Members and guests. We are currently seeking an accomplished Bartender to join our world, and we invite you to submit your resume for consideration. Select candidates will be invited to attend one of our upcoming scheduled open calls.

• Prior fine dining or high-volume craft bar experience
• A strong sense of presence, emotional intelligence, and an eye for detail
• Individuals who lead with kindness, thoughtfulness, and respect, and who value a collective performance

Responsibilities

• Guide Members and guests through their beverage experience with warm, attentive hospitality
• Maintain complete command of the bar and culinary menus, including spirits, wine, cocktail composition, ingredients, and allergens
• Craft and execute cocktails, wine, and beverage selections with precision, consistency, and creativity, adhering to CORE: recipes and presentation standards
• Take Member and guest beverage and food orders, using salesmanship to make recommendations and upsell when appropriate
• Resolve guest concerns by finding a way to say yes, involving the Manager on Duty as needed
• Anticipate and fulfill a wide range of Member and guest needs, both food and beverage and beyond
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including proper inventory, rotation, and storage of spirits, wine, and bar supplies
• Perform all routine and assigned opening, closing, and side work, including bar setup and breakdown
• Provide attentive, professional, and welcoming service at the bar and to an assigned section, assisting coworkers as needed
• Uphold the team's high standards of service, cleanliness, and appearance
• Champion excellence through service and world-class hospitality
