Associate Environmental Service Technician I - PRN

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Associate Environmental Service Technician. This part-time, PRN role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for sanitizing and servicing various areas using germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies, ensuring all patient care areas are stocked with clean linens and supplies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Clean, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas including walls, ceilings, windows, furniture, equipment, and restrooms.
- Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety, even amidst frequent interruptions.
- Work under close supervision, performing standardized tasks efficiently and quietly.
- Be flexible to train and rotate between multiple district facilities such as clinics, hospital, and administrative offices.
- Participate in special projects and other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Housekeeping experience preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills for written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.
Physical Requirements This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and carrying items up to 35 lbs, and occasional lifting or carrying of heavier items. Vision, hearing, and speech should be within normal range with or without corrective devices.
