Office Lead Assistant

We are hiring immediately for a full time Office Lead Assistant position.

Location: Canteen - 1231 Rockland Avenue, Roanoke, VA 24012. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Further details upon interview.

Requirement: Previous customer service and computer experience required.

Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

Summary: Monitors and coordinates the work of office assistant staff. Provides routine clerical and administrative support by answering telephones, processing data and maintaining records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answers central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
• Operates office machines.
• Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
• Opens incoming correspondence and determines appropriate course of action and priority.
• Duplicates and distributes materials.
• Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
• Maintains an accurate, complete filing system to facilitate immediate retrieval of any required documents.
• Maintains office supply inventory.
• Answers basic questions and provides guidance on office procedures.
• Assists with the onboarding and training of office assistant associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
