This position is open to candidates at multiple experience levels, from mid-career to senior. You'll help design and support cloud-based data pipelines, APIs, and modern data platforms that power advanced analytics and automation for mission-focused programs.This is an implementation-focused role — not a traditional architecture or systems engineering position. We need someone who enjoys building, integrating, and troubleshooting real working systems.What You'll Do:Design, build, test, and support cloud-based data engineering solutionsDevelop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflowsIntegrate data sources, APIs, applications, and distributed cloud servicesBuild and support data processing pipelines, database applications, and data servicesHandle data movement, transformation, validation, and operational readiness tasksDevelop or integrate RESTful APIs and data-driven applications as neededPartner with cloud platform, engineering, and DevSecOps teams on deploymentUse Git-based version control and CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentationSupport deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting in Linux and cloud environmentsDocument data flows, interfaces, dependencies, and technical decisionsCollaborate with mission, engineering, security, and stakeholder teams on practical implementationApply secure coding and automated testing best practices throughout developmentHelp safeguard sensitive, proprietary, CUI, or classified information as requiredWork effectively within secure, government, or defense-oriented environmentsWhat You'll Need:Hands-on experience in data engineering, data integration, or software engineeringExperience building ETL pipelines and data processing workflowsExperience integrating APIs, applications, services, or databasesProficiency in a modern programming language — Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScriptWorking knowledge of cloud-native data platforms and servicesExperience developing or troubleshooting in Linux-based environmentsFamiliarity with Git and collaborative source control workflowsUnderstanding of secure coding and software engineering best practicesStrong troubleshooting skills across pipelines, APIs, databases, and integrationsSolid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to collaborate across engineering teams and adapt to shifting requirementsAbility to work within secure or mission-oriented environmentsNice to Have:Hands-on experience with AWS cloud servicesExperience with Databricks or similar cloud data platformsExperience with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD toolsExperience with relational and/or NoSQL databasesExperience with data modeling, large-scale processing, or streaming/event-driven architecturesFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization toolsExposure to DevOps/DevSecOps practicesExperience assessing software dependencies, licensing, or supply chain securityBackground supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or other mission-driven organizationsAWS certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps Engineer)Active or eligible security clearance, where applicableSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
