Make a positive impact working with young learners as a Special Education Teacher supporting 3K and 4K elementary students. This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week from 7:15am to 2:45pm. You'll play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of students with unique learning needs using evidence-based approaches, creativity, and compassionate support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in South Carolina is required—no exceptions
• Experience working in early childhood or elementary special education preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adaptable, patient, and dedicated to fostering inclusive classroom environments

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct special education instruction in academic, social, and adaptive skills to 3K and 4K students
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Differentiate lessons to meet individual student needs and promote classroom participation
• Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and measure progress
• Communicate regularly with parents about student development and challenges
• Maintain required documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in professional development and school-based meetings
