Description

• Assess patients whether in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Engage actively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to ensure optimal outcomes for your patients
• Educate patients and their families about therapy goals, discharge protocols, and home exercise routines
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute to collaborative care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to promote seamless care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are an advantage, though not essential

Skills

• Previous experience is highly desirable
