Job Description

This onsite role in Tucson involves developing and integrating software for factory test systems used in weapon system production. The software engineer will be responsible for creating applications, libraries, and instrument drivers while troubleshooting issues and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The work directly supports the development of reliable, production-ready test capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software for factory test systems.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in developing object-oriented software in C# and/or C++.

• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and test instrumentation in an engineering environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across cross-functional teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting full lifecycle software development for test systems or production environments.

• Familiarity with automated test equipment, instrument drivers, or hardware-software integration.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to process-heavy workflows.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite in Tucson. The engineer will work with Windows operating systems and engage in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The role requires managing multiple priorities and adapting to process-heavy workflows.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
