Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Physical Therapist to provide specialized care to individuals with disabilities. This role focuses on improving mobility, independence, and overall quality of life through individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.

Schedule & Flexibility

• Part-time, flexible scheduling

• Sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour

• Services typically provided 1–2 times per week per individual

• Frequency is based on individual needs and authorized budgets

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individuals’ physical abilities and develop personalized therapy plans

• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility

• Collaborate with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed

• Educate individuals and caregivers on home exercise programs and strategies for continued progress

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy license

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Work Environment
Services are provided in community-based settings, including group homes, day programs, and private residences.
