Full Time Assistant Manager - Storage Property

Job Title Property Manager/Assistant Manager aka Client Happiness Hero & Master of Multitasking Desired Traits punctual impatient and have a high sense of urgency when it comes to getting the job done enjoy rooms full of spinning plates and can look busy even when sitting still has a natural ability to read others and intuition social, open, approachable, empathetic, outgoing, and very effective in the handling and dispersing of information naturally curious, self‑sufficient, and enjoys doing a variety of tasks at one time Responsibilities Assist customers with renting units in person, via phone, and through other advertising/marketing opportunities; enhance sales through rentals, insurance and moving supplies Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and offering solutions; guide new customers through rental processes Resolve issues professionally and positively Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office, restrooms, grounds, and vacant units; keep well‑organized records and perform minor maintenance tasks and regular property inspections to ensure timely and consistent completion Shop local competitors in person and online; report information gathered, including rates and specials, to supervisors and other departments; perform additional marketing functions as needed Monitor rates, specials, and revenue‑related factors Perform required daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, processing daily bank deposits and completing auctions according to policy and laws If at a participating location, assist tenants with completing, processing and returning rentals through programs such as U‑Haul, Penske, or company‑owned rental truck services Working Hours Monday-Friday: 9:30am – 5:30pm Saturday: 9:00am – 2:00pm Sunday: Closed Qualifications High school diploma/GED required Experience in sales or retail environment preferred Experience in fast‑paced, customer service‑related environment preferred Property Manager: At least one year of experience in property management preferred A background screening will be conducted at time of hire For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required Benefits Performance‑based bonuses and incentives Full line up of benefits Regular team recognition events and awards The occasional “unofficial” title change to “Tenant Relations Guru”, “Operations Overachiever” for Top Performers #J-18808-Ljbffr
