Contact us to learn more about the AM way./ppVendor Managed Inventory Technician is the ambassador to the customers on their route. They evaluate the inventory position of the products being managed, establishing replenishment quantities based on established parameters. They also restocks products as needed during the same visit. In the process, the VMI Technician builds relationships with these customers and ensures they are satisfied and informed on all of the latest products and services available./ppEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliTravel daily in your company-provided vehicle to support the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations in your territory./liliEnsure appropriate customer stock levels, generate new orders and obtain customer approval for new orders as required./liliUnpack orders, check accuracy of orders and put away stock at customer locations./liliProvide communication and feedback to sales representatives and supervisor as appropriate to ensure full customer satisfaction./liliPerform general housekeeping for service equipment and immediate area./liliUse company smartphone app to process orders/li/ulpPhysical Demands:/ppThe VMI Technician must be able to drive up to 5 hours/day and work in industrial environments. This position does require the ability to lift and carry boxes weighing an average of 50 lbs/box./ppPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work/Pay/Benefits:/ppThis is a full-time non-exempt position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm; with a 60-minute unpaid lunch. 40 hours per week./ppThe salary for this position will be based on experience and certifications (if any).
