About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required License: Rad Tech License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (must obtain before start) Must-Have: Level 1 experience preferred EKG onboarding exam required Epic EHR and McKesson experience required PREFERRED: Philips Single, Bi Plane Angiography Description: Must have a Rad Tech License in Kentucky through ARRT before start. Pending license is okay at submission. Shifts will be four 10-hour shifts per week, from 07:00 to 17:30. Call requirements include: 1 Late call per week (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM) 1 Call shift per week (5:30 PM - 7:00 AM) 1-2 Call weekends per 6-week schedule (Weekend is Friday, 5:30 PM - Monday, 7:00 AM). Candidates must have experience in accurate monitoring, angioplasty, and other specified procedures. Work will encompass a variety of age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted. Candidates must float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. Maximum experience for travelers in specialty: 2 years, unless specified otherwise. Candidates must not have any licensure hits. Candidates must have prior numbers to check eligibility for rehire. Modules are billable and must be completed during orientation and annually.
