Summary The Commercial Lines Learning Strategist is an important part of the Enterprise Learning & Strategy Team and is responsible for developing an enterprise Commercial Lines learning strategy. This includes designing and delivering a robust curriculum for Commercial Lines team members across HUB International . The role reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Learning Strategy and partners closely with senior Commercial Lines leaders to align the workforce with enterprise and regional strategies. As the leader of the Commercial Lines Learning & Development team, you will be a strong performance and business consultant who develops solutions and programming. You will build learning experiences that increase knowledge, skills, and abilities directly tied to the Commercial Lines business strategy. Your experience in orchestrating organizationally complex work and demonstrating business impact through data will be essential. The right candidate is energized to be hands‑on, willing to analyze and build, and unafraid to roll up their sleeves to get projects completed. Responsibilities Develop and execute enterprise Commercial Lines learning and development paths that drive consistency while accounting for enterprise and regional needs. Design a robust training curriculum that builds the technical and industry knowledge and skills needed for our teams to support the Commercial Lines strategy and deliver exceptional customer service. Continuously improve the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Commercial Lines learning and development programs, content, and tools. Drive training effectiveness and adjust programs based on business needs and program evaluation. Provide strategic consulting support to Commercial Lines executives, HUB senior leaders, and learning/HR teams to build a strong understanding of business needs and strategy. Build a strategic professional network and relationships with stakeholders and SMEs across the organization. Build strong relationships with members of the Talent Function, HR Advisors, and other key business stakeholders. Lead global and/or regional learning and development projects, including associated communications and change management. Manage the Commercial Lines learning and development team, providing ongoing coaching and support to improve performance and impact. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience. 10 years of professional experience with a mix of training/OD and Commercial Lines experience. Experience in a multi‑national company preferred. Detailed knowledge of training and learning practices and technologies (Canva, Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.). Proven facilitation skills for audiences of various sophistication levels and sizes, with the ability to deliver content in multiple modalities. Experience managing, leading, and coaching individuals and teams. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people across different levels, organizations, and time zones. Experience influencing and consulting with executives and SMEs; experience in a large or decentralized organization is a plus. Demonstrated ability to assess needs, administer programs, and manage complex projects. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems/tools (Cornerstone On Demand experience is a plus). Required Experience and Travel Required Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience. Required Travel: Up to 25%. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (4‑year degree). Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
