Under the supervision of an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), you will provide close observation of patients, assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment, promote a therapeutic environment, and enhance the efficiency of the nursing team. You may provide safe patient transport throughout the facility as directed. All duties and responsibilities are performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, 1701 Lacey Street, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 Hours/Schedule: Part‑Time (24 hrs per week) Education: High school diploma, G.E.D, CNA/CPCT certification, enrolled in a healthcare career program through a high school curriculum, or a current co‑worker of Mercy Licensure: (any applicable professional licensure) Experience: entry level Certifications: BLS (optional to obtain after hire) Other: Ability to sit for long periods of time while remaining alert; occasional standing and walking Preferred Education: (not specified) Preferred Licensure: (not specified) Preferred Experience: (not specified) Preferred Certifications: BLS (optional after hire) Preferred Other: (none specified) Why Mercy?
