Join the Heartsworth Center Nursing team as a Kitchen Cook and play a key role in providing exceptional culinary experiences to our residents and staff!

As a Kitchen Cook at Heartsworth Center Nursing, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents and staff, ensuring that food is served hot and presented professionally. You will work closely with our dietary team to plan and execute daily menus, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about food and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and cooks meals for residents and staff, ensuring that food is served hot and presented professionally

• Works closely with the dietary team to plan and execute daily menus

• Maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards

• Orders supplies and ingredients as needed, and manages inventory levels

• Participates in meal tray assembly and delivery

• Assists with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ years of experience as a cook or in a related field

• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends

• Valid Food Handling Certification

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
