About WNDU WNDU is the NBC Affiliate located on the campus of Notre Dame. We are the market leader with our First Alert Weather, and we carry all the major sports, including Notre Dame Football, NFL Sunday Night Football, NBA Basketball, Big Ten Football, Major League Baseball, and the Olympics. We use these sports and combine them with our Newscasts and our Digital products to help our clients reach their future customers. Job Summary WNDU is seeking a Creative Services Producer to join our award-winning promotions team. This full-production position is responsible for writing, shooting, and editing station image campaigns, local Commercials, news promotions, and community initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Duties and Responsibilities Write, shoot, and edit promotional/commercial spots for WNDU. Collaborate closely with the Creative Services Director to develop fresh, engaging marketing campaigns that strengthen brands. Produce daily syndicated topicals, public service announcements, proof-of-performance spots, and other on‑air and digital marketing materials under tight deadlines. Collaborate closely with sales and clients on commercial production projects. Work closely with newsroom, sales, digital, and station leadership on cross-department initiatives. Capture compelling video and audio in the field using professional production equipment. Edit content for broadcast, streaming, social, and digital platforms while maintaining high production standards. Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Strong writing, shooting, lighting, and non-linear editing skills are essential. Broadcast promotion experience and knowledge of current video production workflows are preferred. Qualifications and Requirements Highly skilled visual storyteller with demonstrated ability in production, writing, cinematography, and editing. Great communicator who can effectively collaborate across departments. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Team player who is a self-starter and can work independently. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
