What You’ll DoIn this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll be at the center of quality assurance and continuous improvement:
- Own product quality at the final stage by serving as the Designated Quality Representative (DSQR), ensuring all customer specifications are met before shipment
- Investigate and solve quality issues by leading root cause analysis and driving corrective actions for internal and external non-conformances
- Partner across teams (Quality, Engineering, and Production) to improve processes and prevent future defects
- Support supplier quality by communicating issues and ensuring accountability and resolution
- Inspect precision castings using measurement tools and hands-on techniques like benching and blending
- Navigate customer systems and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and operational efficiency
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in quality or related field preferred
- 3-5+ years of Quality Assurance experience (manufacturing preferred), including inspections and audits
- Experience or ability to obtain AS13001 / DSQR certification
- Document control experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Confidence working hands-on with tools and measurement equipment
