Job Title: RN OR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 1-2 years License: RN License Certifications: AHA BLS Must-Have: BSN and CNOR preferred. Scrub experience preferred. Description: OR RN position with day/evening and weekend rotation. Requires 1-2 rotations to weekends per 4-week schedule. Requires 1-2 rotations to evenings (1 PM - 11:30 PM) per 4-week schedule. On-call required. Unit provides Level III Trauma OR services in a complex community setting. Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Clinician to patient ratio is 1:1. Census is approximately 30-40 patients per day. Charting system utilized is EPIC. Floating is not required. Rotating shifts are required, with day rotation needing 2-3 evenings per 4-week schedule. Weekend rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule. Call requirements include 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule, and 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekend shift will include call duties. Basic aseptic technique and the ability to circulate independently are essential. Multispecialty competence is required. Experience with Mako and Davinci systems is necessary.
