Shift Leader Position

We are looking for an experienced customer focused and skilled shift leader, who will work along side of store directors to run daily operations effectively and with attention to detail. Shift leader candidates are required to demonstrate genuine hospitality within a fast-paced quick service restaurant and be in constant contact with the staff and guests. They need to provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to team members ensuring consistent alignment with Chick-fil-A's vision and values. While utilizing a hands on leadership style, shift leaders develop their team leaders and team members to provide the highest quality customer services through second mile service. More importantly, an ideal shift leader candidate should be able to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of individuals while maintaining a positive, and productive work environment along with strong decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities of a Shift Leader

• Coaching and mentoring team members and team leaders
• Handles customer concerns and queries
• Maximizing profitability and productivity
• Motivating staff to meet sales and Customer Engagement targets
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
• Liaising with directors
• Providing opportunities for staff advancements
• Holding team members and team leaders accountable to rules and regulations
• Overseeing assigned section of the restaurant
• Must be able to run a position during assigned shift
• Must demonstrate core vision and values

Shift Leader Job/Scheduling Requirements

• Must have more than 2 years leadership experience overseeing more than 10 people
• Must be 21 years or older for shift leader position
• Must have weekend availability
• Must have flexibility to work various shifts such as mornings, nights, and mid-shifts
