Pfizer seeks a Senior Oncology Account Specialist to promote its oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and institutions in the Detroit region. The role involves strategic account management, customer relationship building, and education on appropriate product use to improve patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Promote Pfizer's oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers, specialists, and institutions
- Develop and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to drive product demand and sales objectives
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and priority customers across institutions
- Assess customer needs and address them with targeted resources, overcoming access barriers to difficult-to-reach providers
- Educate healthcare professionals on appropriate use of Pfizer products and disease management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR associate's degree with 8+ years experience OR high school diploma with 10+ years relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales or oncology healthcare professional experience with key opinion leaders
- Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
- Demonstrated proficiency with complex digital applications and strong technical communication skills
- 3-5 years oncology sales experience preferred; hematology therapeutic area experience preferred
Compensation: $108,600 - $250,700 base annual salary, plus sales incentive bonus
