Senior Procurement Specialist

Catalent seeks a Senior Procurement Specialist for its Madison biologics manufacturing facility. The role manages procurement of consumables and materials, coordinates with cross-functional teams on sourcing and contracts, and analyzes supplier performance and spend data to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders for materials, services, and operational requirements
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, and resolve supply or quality issues
• Support sourcing activities including RFQ, RFI, and RFP processes with bid comparison
• Analyze procurement metrics and spend data to identify cost savings and reduce supply risk
• Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, supplier records, and performance tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain
• Minimum 3 years procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management experience
• Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, and procurement reporting tools
• Strong analytical skills for pricing, spend data, and supplier performance evaluation
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication abilities
• Experience with purchase orders, RFQ/RFI/RFP processes, and contract support
