Growing team of Neonatologists and Neonatology Nurse Practitioners located in Dallas seeking a Board Certified NNP to join their collegiate team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Requirements Master's Degree in Nursing Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – FNP, PNP or other NP certifications not accepted 2+ years of NNP experience (highly preferred) Texas Nursing license or willingness to obtain one Practice Profile Coverage is provided at three Level III‑IV NICUs affiliated with high‑risk delivery services, soon expanding to six Level 2 Special Care Nurseries, all in the Dallas area. The NNPs also provide services at two Level IIIa and two Level II nurseries throughout Texas. The NNPs work collaboratively with Neonatologists to provide coverage of the delivery service and care for all infants in the NICU. 12‑ and 24‑hour roles serve 8‑10 patients, perform procedures, and attend high‑risk deliveries. Night coverage includes a unit staffed by 3‑4 NNPs, a resident, a fellow, and a Neonatologist. Level II units are covered 24/7 with in‑house NNPs and Neonatologists performing daily rounds and being available for emergencies. The NNPs work a combination of 12‑ and 24‑shift schedules that can be varied to suit needs. Attendance at delivery is shared with the Neonatologists. No transport duties.
