Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality direct services to students with communication needs Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine individual strengths and areas of support Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs Maintain current and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Adapt interventions to a diverse student population, adjusting to different school sites as needed Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families to ensure student success Desired Qualifications: Active SLP license in California (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA (preferred) Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California schools Bilingualism in Spanish is strongly preferred Flexibility to provide services across various school sites; school assignments and caseloads will be determined closer to the start date Comfortable with onsite work; remote assignments are not available for this position This assignment offers full-time hours during the school year, with all work performed in person. The district is open to considering both local and travel therapists and anticipates the need for multiple professionals.
