We arelooking for an energetic, responsible and reliable Volleyball Coach to join our after-school sports programs at elementary schools throughout the Orlando area for beginners.

This is a great part-time opportunity for anyone who loves volleyball and sports, enjoys working with kids and is looking to earn extra income with a flexible afternoon schedule.

Position Details

Pay: $35-$60 per session
Session Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
Must be available: 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Wednesdays: 1:30 pm– 3:30 pm
Schedule: Part-time | Monday–Friday afternoons
Location: Meadow Woods and Lake Nona area
Program: After-School Volleyball

Coaches may work one or multiple days per week depending on availability and program needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate volleyball sessions for elementary school students
• Teach fundamental volleyball skills, including passing, serving, setting, movement, positioning, and teamwork
• Plan and organize drills, games, and activities appropriate for different skill levels
• Provide clear instruction on volleyball techniques, rules, and basic game strategies
• Create a positive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, confidence, and respect
• Manage student attendance and dismissal
• Set up, organize, and properly store equipment
• Monitor student safety throughout each session
• Maintain appropriate student behavior and a positive team atmosphere
• Communicate professionally with school personnel

Qualifications

• Must have a recent background check
• Volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred
• Previous coaching experience at the school, recreational, or club level is a plus
• Experience working with children or youth is preferred
• Good knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, rules, and techniques
• Positive, energetic, patient, responsible, and dependable
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage groups of elementary school-age children
• Reliable transportation is required
• Must be responsible and be available during after-school hours
• Must be willing and able to complete all required school/background screenings
• CPR/AED or First Aid certification is a plus
