Lead Electrical Engineer

DANNAR, Inc., is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a mobile, off-road energy platform that is the first in a new class of hybrid-electric work vehicles. We are looking for Lead Electrical Engineer to be responsible for all electrical design , release and validation on the Mobile Power Station (MPS) .

Exempt

Essential Functions:

Performs and reviews the analysis and design activities in completing complex engineering design projects from general drawings and instructions.

Directs other engineers, technicians, and ECAD team members in the production of packages providing detailed electrical designs for high and low voltage systems.

Assumes responsibility for technical accuracy and manufacturability of finished designs.

Serves as lead engineer on projects.

Performs thorough checking of electrical design packages.

Mentor and help grow the department in experience.

Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Understanding of Lean Six Sigma (complete Yellow Belt Training)

Required education and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years experience in electrical engineering
• 3+ years experience in supervision of staff
• Experience working with grid power connected systems and standards.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification (can be completed upon hire).
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at particular heights

Preferred education and experience:

• 3+ years’ experience running projects
• Experience with electrification of vehicles
• Power Conversion Experience
• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work authorization/security clearance requirments:

Authorized to work in the United States.
