Job Title – Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location – 1300 N Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, California 90027, United States
Duration – 13 Weeks (06/22/2026 onward)
Shift – Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (06:45 PM – 07:15 AM)
Rotation – No Block Scheduling
Float – No (L&D travelers do not float as agency staff)
Call Requirement – Not Specified

Job Description

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery responsible for providing comprehensive maternal and fetal care throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. The RN will monitor patients, assist with deliveries, provide patient education, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

This position requires strong Labor and Delivery experience in a fast-paced obstetric setting with the ability to care for high-risk patients and respond effectively to emergent situations.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills / Experience

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required

Labor and Delivery experience required

Experience with facilities performing 100–300 births per month required

Ability to monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced obstetric environment

Current California RN License required (license in hand at submission)

Preferred Skills / Experience

Antepartum experience preferred

High-Risk Antepartum experience preferred

LDRP experience preferred

Level I Nursery experience preferred

Mother/Baby experience preferred

Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support) required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required

AWHONN Advanced required

AWHONN Intermediate required

California RN License required

C-EFM preferred

FHM preferred

Additional Requirements

RTO must be submitted at time of submission

Local travelers accepted at same bill rate

Charting System – Paragon (training provided)

Candidates with DUI background history will not be accepted

COVID-19 Vaccination required – No exemptions
