Contract Ultrasound Technologist – Women's HealthLocation: Community Hospital – Grand Junction, ColoradoSchedule: Full-Time, Temporary/ContractHours: Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM No nights or weekends 26-week assignmentPosition SummaryCommunity Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a contract assignment in our Women's Health Clinic. This role is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and supporting clinical and administrative functions related to women's care in a patient-centered environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with provider orders and clinical standardsEnsure all equipment is powered on, calibrated, and fully operational prior to patient proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment, including: Cleaning and disinfecting all equipment after each use (scanner, exam table, counters, consoles, workstations, etc.) Stocking exam rooms with necessary suppliesCommunicate ultrasound results to referring providers as directedManage timely follow-up for STAT results, call reports, and patients awaiting resultsAccurately transfer images, patient information, and exam documentation to Virtual Radiology for after-hours casesSupport clinic workflow and provide excellent patient care and serviceEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferredCertifications & LicensureRegistered with ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) in one or more of the following: General OB/GYN Vascular Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredWhy Join Us?Predictable daytime schedule—no nights or weekends Supportive, collaborative women's health environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patient care
