Job Summary

A prestigious full-service law firm in Downtown Miami is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy Defense Litigation Practice Group. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced law firm environment, supporting multiple attorneys, and helping ensure litigation matters move forward efficiently and accurately.

As a Litigation Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in document preparation, court filings, deadline management, scheduling, case file organization, billing support, and attorney coordination. This is a strong opportunity to join a stable, professional legal environment with collaborative teams, supportive leadership, and a high standard of client service.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing competing priorities while delivering polished, accurate legal support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys within a high-volume litigation practice group.
- Prepare, edit, proofread, organize, and file pleadings, correspondence, legal documents, and case materials.
- Calculate, calendar, and monitor Federal and Florida State court deadlines to ensure timely filings and case activity.
- Schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, appointments, and related litigation events.
- Maintain electronic and physical case files, including case openings, conflict checks, records, and document organization.
- Assist with client billing, attorney time entry, narrative edits, invoice preparation, expense tracking, and reimbursements.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.
- Schedule: 100% onsite.
- Location: Downtown Miami, FL.
- Remote Work: No remote work.
